On February 16, 2008, Lucia Spano opened "La Nuova Tabaccheria" ("The New Smoke Shop") in Arzachena, on Viale Paolo Dettori 16 near the intersection with Viale Costa Smeralda, the main and busiest street in Arzachena.

In 2007, she took out the old retail shop and completely renovated the place in very elegant Classical style, in keeping with the quality of services offered.

Infact, Lucia decided to give La Nuova Tabaccheria a dehumidified showcase which was specially created for the best possible storage of top quality Habanos cigars and is the only one of its kind in the City of Arzachena.

But, La Nuova Tabaccheria does not only offer tabacco and smoking accessories, it also has a newsstand with all major national newspapers plus international newspapers during the summer; it has a lottery and scratch and win office and will soon also offer pool offices for totocalcio, totogol, superenalotto, and tris.

A large area has been set aside for stationery and school items plus a section for toys and gift items.
